CIE Africa’s leadership model recognises that building a continental innovation ecosystem cannot depend on one individual, institution or country.
It requires clearly defined responsibilities and the ability to coordinate diverse expertise across strategy, innovation, technology, enterprise, programmes, partnerships, talent and local delivery. Leadership is therefore organised as a connected system—guided by shared purpose and strengthened by specialised institutions, chapters and delivery teams.

Godwin Chike Ebere
An innovation ecosystem builder and entrepreneur working to connect technology, enterprise, institutions and development opportunities across Nigeria, Africa and international markets.
Building connected systems for opportunity
Godwin Chike Ebere founded the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship to help address a recurring challenge: promising ideas, talented people, institutions and economic opportunities frequently exist in isolation, without the coordinated systems required to create sustainable enterprises and productive employment.
His work spans innovation ecosystem development, digital platforms, entrepreneurship, institutional collaboration and the conception of programmes and ventures designed around practical African challenges. Through CIE Africa, he provides mission leadership and coordinates the development of a wider network of institutions, chapters, initiatives, ventures and partnerships.
